Concert Series or Individual Concerts: Each season, world-renowned conductors and guest artists join the Orchestra to perform a wide array of classical and contemporary concerts along with musicals and semi-staged theatrical productions.

New York Philharmonic Concert Series

  • THE ART OF THE SCORE-Film Week: This popular concert series explores how music itself plays a role in film, becoming a character that conveys emotion of all types. The music score is performed live on stage while the film is screened above the Orchestra.

  • Philharmonic Festivals: Philharmonic Festivals survey the works of artists from the past, re-examine the works of great composers, and introduce audiences to new voices and new directions. In addition to definitive performances by the world's greatest performers, Festivals include lectures, exhibits, publications, multi-media presentations, and collaborations with other cultural institutions.

  • Holiday Concerts: The Philharmonic celebrates the holidays with the traditional music of the season. Holiday Concerts include the baroque splendor of Handel's Messiah, the festive sounds of Holiday Brass, family-friendly Holidays with the Philharmonic and the Philharmonic’s annual New Year's Eve celebration.

  • Concerts in the Parks: Since 1965, over 14 million people have enjoyed the New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks. A beloved 50 year tradition in all 5 New York City borough parks, these free, iconic concerts attract 200,000+ people each summer.

  • NY PHIL BIENNIAL: A 10-day immersive international exhibition showcasing the best of today’s new music through orchestral events, guest ensembles and CONTACT! concerts with small ensembles in intimate venues outside the Lincoln Center area.

  • Annual Galas and Special Events: As one of the most prestigious cultural institutions in New York City, the New York Philharmonic's special events are attended by luminaries from the worlds of business, media, the arts, government and society. Sponsorships are available for Opening Night, Chinese New Year, the Spring Gala, and other unique events throughout the season.

  • Education Programs: The Philharmonic works diligently to engage new audiences and new generations in the living tradition of great concert music. Philharmonic education programs impact more than 60,000 children, students, educators, and adults. In the concert hall, in the classroom, and on the Internet, the Philharmonic opens doors for people of all backgrounds.

  • Patron Programs: The New York Philharmonic boasts more than 1,000 patrons (donors giving $2,000 or more). Sponsors of our Patron Programs, including our Young New Yorkers for the Philharmonic and the Leonard Bernstein Circle, gain unique access to this high net-worth and highly loyal segment of our audience.
