Graduate of The Juilliard School and the New England Conservatory, cellist Wendy Law has appeared as soloist with renowned orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, Singapore Symphony, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Russian Philharmonic, and Juilliard orchestras. She has performed in venues including the General Assembly at the United Nations, Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall and Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and Boston’s Jordan Hall. An active chamber musician, she has collaborated with the Borromeo String Quartet, Yo-Yo Ma, and Pamela Frank, among others. In addition to her active performance schedule, Ms. Law is a Teaching Artist at the New York Philharmonic, and founder and artistic director of Classical Jam. She was recently a guest lecturer in “Leadership in Music Communication” seminars in collaboration with Showa University, Tokyo College of Music, and Kobe College in Japan.
